Project LIB(e)RO, which started October 1st 2016, will run over two years (project end date 30/09/2016). The work on the project can be divided into three phases:
At the beginning of the project, the project partners will prepare national analysis reports, in which they evaluate the situation of minor refugees as well as that of librarians and social workers in the partner countries. The aim of these reports is to point out which learning and educational opportunities already exist and which needs librarians, social workers and minor refugees articulate with regard to these opportunities. In this way, LIB(e)RO tries to prevent the reproduction of contents that already exist and instead hopes to fill existing gaps in order to make a real contribution to the integration of refugees.
The focus of the second project phase will be the development of teaching and learning materials on the basis of the findings in the analysis reports. The developed materials and contents will be made available to refugees, librarians and social workers on an ongoing basis and thus the e-learning platform will be filled step by step.
During the test phase, the e-learning platform and the contents, which it provides, will be tested by the operational project partners in their work with refugees. The results and conclusions from these tests will be put down in the form of evaluation reports. These reports will be used to adapt and improve the project contents.
Even after the official project end date, the contents developed within project LIB(e)RO will be available and free to be used by everyone interested.
